SERVICE DOCUMENTATION
Service Records & Contractor Responsibilities
FieldLedger organizes operator-entered records. It does not certify work or determine which rules apply to a site.
1. Portable Fire Extinguishers
The extinguisher workflow can record equipment identity, condition and company-configured service dates:
- Equipment details and company-configured next service dates.
- Operating pressure gauge condition, physical damage, and tamper seal verification logging.
- Location matching and missing asset deficiency alerts.
2. Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Systems
The hood-cleaning workflow keeps before-and-after photographs and technician observations with the visit:
- Hood canopy, horizontal ductwork, vertical riser, and rooftop exhaust fan photo evidence.
- Access panel inspection tagging and inaccessible area documentation.
- Downloadable customer service record; acceptance by an inspector is not guaranteed.
3. Commercial Grease Interceptors
The grease-service configuration supports recording service quantities and observations selected by the contractor:
- Pumped quantities and observed equipment condition.
- Operator-entered disposal details and notes.
Notice of Independent Contractor Responsibility:
FieldLedger records technician observations and equipment metadata. FieldLedger does not independently inspect, test, certify, or license physical equipment or premises, and does not guarantee regulatory acceptance. Service contractors remain solely responsible for ensuring that all work complies with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) rules, NFPA codes, EPA rules, and professional trade standards.
